*A note on classic tracks - it requires a surprisingly large amount of snow to set a classic track, around 8-10" of new snow, or some new on top of old, compacted snow. At least one classic track is set whenever possible, otherwise, it works better to let skiers ski in their own track.

Locations and Notes

North Boulder Park - Between 8th and 9th Streets and Dellwood and Alpine Avenues, just west of Boulder Community Hospital. Volunteers usually groom this first upon a snow event occurring.

Haystack Mountain Golf Course - 5877 Niwot Rd. Haystack http://www.golfhaystack.com.  For 2011-12, the BNC had to decline to plan to groom Haystack due overcommiting volunteer groomers.  Thanks to Haystack for being a great and enthusiastic partner.

Valmont City Park - Off of Valmont Rd, between Foothills Parkway and 55th St.  No grooming planned.
